Barcelona was the best atmosphere I've been to and that was in a match against Getafe, not exactly a big name or big rivals.

I've been to the Allianz Arena to see 1860 Munich, Kasimpasa's stadium in Istanbul, the Sportland Arena in Estonia to see Tallina FC Infonet and a few others.
Germany wins hands down, beer in the seats all game long. Half-time kebabs in Turkey were good though.

Used to follow Olympic Lyon when I was working in the city. Great stadium. Really functional and cheap.

Marseille as a stadium is great. As a town not so great

To be fair going to Barcelona was a bit like going to the theatre with lots of Messi'04ers but worth it to see players like Xavi & Iniesta live.

I've been to Dortmund - superb experience. It's not easy to get a ticket though. I have a mate who goes regularly and he got me in.
I'd also recommend Marseille - the stade velodrome has been rebuilt though. Superb set of fans.
Finally the San Siro is decent too.

When we went to the Schalke Tournament we went to the Dussledorf game on the friday night - Budesliga 2 first game of teh season.
It was brilliant - best bit of entertainment that whole weekend. (until Sam got soaked with beer).
To be fair Germany is the only foreign football I have seen but that one experience made me want to go back for more. Downside to to Dussledorf, Dortmund, Schalke is the area of Germany is very industrial so outside of football it's a bit naff.

Alright mate. I've been to an Espanyol game. We went to Barcelona on a stag do, but the best man booked a weekend when Barcelona weren't playing wtf.
I wanted to go in with the away fans, Villareal, but there was only like 200 of them. I can't remember much of the game had a few jagers before it lol.
Got one of the guys from my football team to plan a weekend to Dortmund soon. Apparently you can dirnk in the stands there. Uh oh lol. We're gonna stay in a hostel, get the train. Got a fancy dress night too

Haven't been but Borussia Dortmund seems popular if only to experience a proper terrace. Or St Pauli
Would happily go to Barcelona again. Great city & tickets pretty easy bar v Real Madrid. Messi, Neymar & Suarez should be of interest whoever your mates support.
